I wanted to introduce my audience and peers to the Essence and Beauty of capturing Strength, Elegance and the Independence of Women in one painting. I wanted my first Lithograph for the year 2010 to be a continuant to my previous painting “Dream Weaver”. My works tend to focus on my surroundings, the evolution of Style, the Essence of Soul, and the significance of everyday Urban Living. Some reviews have labeled my work as 'Black Beauty and “Urban Soul”. “Dream Catcher” to many nationalities and through tradition of the Native Indians has been noted to be a net used to catch bad dreams, while good dreams passed through it. “Dream Catcher” is my Tribute to the Strong Women of my Ancestry and History that have dreamed us as a people through Slavery, through Depression, through Oppression. To the Women that have dreamed a good dream and made it their reality, and to the many that are still catching dreams
