notes*: Movin’ Fingers This was painted Live at Fox n’ Goose. This was the first painting that I did in my transition period where I started painting skin tones and slowly backed away from the totally monochromatic look. The trumpet player is wearing a neck chain my mother gave me and an outfit that I wore for years. I painted him wearing these items to show that he is a representation of me. How he looks in this piece is how I felt that night.
